Introduction to Digital Health (Telehealth). Learn about the growing demand for virtual visits through this introduction of Digital Health with a focus on rehabilitation services. In this course series, attendees will learn general ideas surrounding visits through a digital platform, implementation into practice and practical ideas of how to perform a “virtual-first” assessment and treatment to allow clinicians to begin successful treatment of patients remotely. This course will also review current evidence in support of a virtual/hands-off approach to diagnosis and treatment. This session:

  • Builds off of Lesson 1
  • Teaches effective management of patient care
  • Provides practical ideas of how to incorporate virtual visits in assessment and treatment
  • Ensures patient safety
  • Educates how to appropriately select patients
  • Incorporates clinical rationale for escalation of care to in-person visits
